I was talking with some friends the other day (non-Jet fans), who brought up a good point. There is no such thing as a casual Jet Fan. Jet fans are die hard. The live and die with the Jets. Eat, sleep, breathe Jets football.
For those interested in becoming a Jet fan or perhaps you want to test how green your blood is, here's a few things you should know.
1) You must enjoy torture
2) Be prepared to be depressed
3) Joe Willie Namath is your hero
4) So is Curtis Martin
5) Burn your Favre Jersey
6) Spell Jets than say it loud three times right afrer
7) Hate Tom Brady
8) Hate Bill Belichick
9) Hate the Patriots
10) Hate the Dolphins
11) I still Love Chad Pennington
That last one is optional.
